The Trip Out presents… ‘A Trip To Tijuana’
The guys from The Trip Out are joining us at BTC10 and bringing with them a stunning selection of 60’s and 70’s choppers. We asked Anna Porter, part of The Trip Out team, a bit more about what we can expect to see from the exhibition…
“After running The Trip Out for 5 years, we knew we could find some beautiful 60’s and 70’s period choppers to display. These bikes are not only beautiful; they are ridden! We (Andy Porter and Paul Savigar from Pacoima Motorcycles, Dan Haines and I) were inspired by the cool art of Dave Mann, who painted incredible pictures of the 60’s /70’s chopper scene. He was a member of El Foresteros mc and documented his life through his art. The movie ‘Easy Rider’ and other 60’s and 70’s cult B movies will be shown along side an incredible show of the coolest choppers.”
“When Woody asked us to put on a display at The Brighton Tattoo Convention, we wanted to do something a little different, to create a scene with atmosphere; to tell a story. So the story is… ‘A Trip To Tijuana’ – These guys are heading to a party in Tijuana, Mexico. It’s one helluva long ride, so a stop over is needed. A fire is built, smoke some weed, drop some acid and crack open a few beers! Riding free, living the dream…just you, your buddies and your motorcycles.”
Head over anytime during the Saturday and Sunday to see these beautiful machines first hand.
